Hi everyone! Here comes yet another race report. Since the last time you heard from me I have raced 3 races. The first one was 24hours of Canan the weekend after that race in Deerfield, Ohio. I raced for a team from Ohio. They asked me to race for them and I couldn't reject their offer. I had heard so much about the race. The race went fine and we finished 2nd and 4th. I was on the B team that finished 4th since I was an outsider. My performance was good in fact one of the best in the entire A and B team. There's a story on the Biowheel's pages. These articles were written during the race weekend and are quite impressive as they were even updated during the race. You can find the articles one by one from the following addresses:

The next weekend I was off to Pennsylvania, to be exact Seven Springs. We left immediately after 24 hours of Canan and camped in Seven Springs. I was worried that after such a hard race I might not have been able to recover. I proved myself wrong. A lot of swimming in the hotels swimming pool ( we campers were privileged enough to have access) recovered my muscles just in time. 7 hours of racing still felt in my legs on Thursday the day before the Norba National. The day of the race I was fine. I had a good race although I did think I can do a lot better this season. I finished 43rd and got my best placing ever at a Norba National pro race!
From there my trip headed to Finland, my home country. I had decided to go there to work and save some money. To get a working permit in the USA seemed to difficult. Here I'm now at the moment writing in the ever long days.
The 3rd race was a few days after I had arrived. I didn't plan to do this race but had to because it sounded so fun. This was a enduro race (not raced in the USA). This race works as rally or enduro motocross. The race consists of several special stages only 1-4km in length. The total time is calculated from these special stages to see who is the winner. The stages are very technical and requires a lot of technique. I finished 7th and did not think I had recovered from my oversea trip.
I was not happy about how I did but I had a lot of fun and discovered that I had lost some of my Finnish terrain technique. Next weekend is the Finnish X-C championships that I'm trying to get ready for. I have worked very hard now at construction and I seem to be very tired each evening. I hope the race goes well. I'm just trying to keep my legs fresh during the days of hard work. New race report awaiting about this race and some other races I will do here soon. The Scandinavian Championships are the 27th of this month.
Best Regards,

Thomas Nordstrom
