Torsti, me and Ola at TPH

In spring of 2002 Tapiolan Pyörähuolto and Myyrmäen Pyörähuolto combined their efforts to produce the best bike store in Finland ever.

Below is a description of what Tapiolan Pyörähuolto has ment to me. It remains to be seen how Bike Planet will compare to one of its ancestors. I am sure Bike Planet will do great!

Tapiolan Pyörähuolto is a company that to me feels like family. I bought the first bike I raced from them and ever since then they have supported me in immeasurable ways. I have gotten my bikes serviced and fixed. I have gotten a lot of good advice and bicycle part  and accessories support. 

TPH is one of the most successful bike retailers in Finland. They do some of their own importing too. TPH imports for example Cannondale bicycles in Finland.

That is what I ride at the moment, a Cannondale Jekyll. I'm so happy with it that I could use an entire section of its own to explain the advantages of it.

The strongest quality of TPH is their service. People from close and far distances come to bring in their bikes for service.  Naturally the customer service is equal to the repairs. It is namely the service that TPH has gotten famous for. Sometimes it seems like it brings in more service than the business can handle.

I have experienced that myself. In the summer of 2000 TPH was kind to offer me a summer job. I learned a lot and I am thankful for the learning experience.

Although such a high demand from its customers TPH has maintained to please most of its customers. So was the case when I worked for them. And it was a joy to see so many satisfied faces and that I was part of such a splendid business.

There aren't enough words to express my gratefulness to TPH but I'd like to thank them in here anyways. The people that I have worked with and deserves a big Thank You are: Torsti & Ola Åhman, Kimmo Dahlqvist, Arska (Ari Johansson), Stoge (Tuomo Järvimäki) Magnus Liljestrand and Kari Nenonen.
