Hi
everyone!
I'm happy to let everyone know that I'm back in the racing scene
after taking a break to earn some money this summer. I have surprised
myself and others on how well I have done. The summer was so difficult
and I didn't get much training in at all. |
My
first race was in Ohio and it was a race in muddy conditions.
About 40 racers turned up in the men's Collegiate A category.
I didn't feel very good at
all but I still placed 2nd.
The results are viewable at the following address: |

The
second race took place in Illinois. I felt great and had a very
good race
taking 1st place! |

My
third race was the following day and I was concerned on how well
my endurance would last on a back to back race. I surprised myself
again and finished second at the same time as Todd Shoberg (teammate
and SoBe/Headschock pro rider) |

This
weekend we our College had a home race and I didn't have the best
of luck. Someone crashed into me in the start and knocked me over.
I crashed and was nearly run over by the entire herd of Collegiate
racers. Fortunately I only bruised my knee and a few parts on
my bike broke. |
I'm
looking forward to our next Midwest Collegiate meet next week
in Michigan. After that we will head on a long roadtrip to Idaho
to meet the best of the countries collegiate racers at the Collegiate
National Mountain biking Championships. Race reports from those
races will follow up. |
Thanks
for all your support!
